Zeekr cars Model Lineup
Zeekr cars started out fully electric, but the brand added plug-in hybrid SUVs in 2025. The list below shows the core 2026 models, grouped by type, and prices are China starting prices where Zeekr has confirmed them. In addition, many of these models are sold in Europe, Australia and the Middle East.

The 001 was the first Zeekr, and it was updated again in late 2025 with a 900-volt system. The all-wheel-drive version makes 680 kW (912 hp), so it reaches 100 km/h in 2.83 seconds.

Electric 800-volt Up to 870 km CLTC
The 007 sedan debuted in late 2023, and the 2025 model starts at RMB 209,900. It comes with rear or all-wheel drive, while the bigger battery gives up to 870 km of CLTC range.

The 007 GT is the long-roof version of the 007, and it launched in April 2025. In fact, it reached 10,000 deliveries in just 31 days.

The 9X launched in September 2025 as the first Zeekr with a gas engine. It starts at RMB 465,900, while a five-seat version followed in July 2026. Meanwhile, exports to the UAE began in 2026.

The 8X launched in April 2026, and it sits below the 9X. Its tri-motor version reaches 100 km/h in 2.96 seconds, while the electric range is up to 410 km on the CLTC test.
What Are Zeekr cars?
Zeekr was founded in March 2021 as Geely’s premium electric brand. Then the first 001 was shown at Auto Shanghai that April, and deliveries began in October 2021. The name comes from “zero” and “evolving,” as well as krypton.
Zeekr cars use Geely’s SEA electric platform, which they share with brands such as Volvo, Polestar and smart. They’re designed partly in Gothenburg, Sweden, while most are built in Ningbo, China. In addition, the 7X is assembled in Malaysia.
Zeekr listed on the New York Stock Exchange in May 2024, and in 2025 it took a 51% stake in Lynk & Co. However, Geely Auto bought out the other shareholders, so Zeekr left the NYSE in December 2025 and is now wholly owned by Geely Auto.
Zeekr cars History
Zeekr cars went from a new brand to more than 900,000 deliveries in about five years.
- 2021 Geely founds Zeekr in March, and 001 deliveries begin in October.
- 2022 The 001 sets two Guinness World Records in August.
- 2023 The 009 and X go on sale, while Zeekr enters Sweden and the Netherlands.
- 2024 Zeekr lists on the NYSE in May, and the 7X and Mix arrive later in the year.
- 2025 Zeekr takes control of Lynk & Co, while the 9X launches in September.
- 2025 Then Geely Auto completes its buyout in December, and Zeekr leaves the NYSE.
- 2026 Meanwhile, Waymo opens its Zeekr-built Ojai robotaxi to riders.
- 2026 Finally, the 8X launches in April and Zeekr enters South Korea in May.

The 001 FR is a high-performance 001 with four motors and 1,265 PS. As a result, it reaches 100 km/h in about 2 seconds, and it can even spin on the spot.

Robotaxi Built in Ningbo
Zeekr builds this robotaxi for Waymo, which then adds its self-driving hardware. In fact, it opened to all Waymo riders in San Francisco, Phoenix and Los Angeles in August 2026.

Who owns Zeekr?
Zeekr is wholly owned by Geely Auto, which is part of Geely Holding. Geely Auto bought out the other shareholders in December 2025.
Is Zeekr part of Volvo?
No. However, both belong to the Geely group, so the Zeekr X shares its platform with the Volvo EX30.
Where are Zeekr cars made?
Most are built in Ningbo, China, while the X is made in Chengdu and the Mix in Luqiao. In addition, the 7X is assembled in Malaysia.
Is Zeekr still on the stock market?
No. Zeekr left the New York Stock Exchange in December 2025 when Geely Auto took it private.
Are Zeekr cars sold in Europe?
